As we were staying in agres at the foot of the mariola mountains it only seemed right to do a bit of walking (suggested me). The area is known for having huge caverns built high up on the mountains to act as ice stores. Today we would be walking up to these, some 1200m high. Ooops.
Having just googled the height of Britains highest peak, Ben Nevis at 1344m, (did you know that Dad?) I now know why we both have sore legs. Cold showers later I think.
